Introduction

This course combines a balance of lectures and workshop sessions to maximise the learning process.  It involves a high level of delegate participation using group exercises to evaluate typical calibration problems developed in assessment of calibration systems.

Course Objectives

On completion the course, delegates will be in a position to carry out a critical appraisal of their company’s calibration requirements and develop a cost-effective calibration programme to meet the company’s needs.

This course is based on the requirements of BS 5750/ISO 9000 series and the requirements of ISO 10012-1, Quality Assurance requirements for measuring equipment.

Who Should Attend

This Course is designed for:

Manager and technical staff of testing and Managers of calibration system; suppliers of measuring equipment; electrical/electronic manufacturers with in-house calibration system; and personnel responsible for establishing calibration system to meet the ISO 9000/IEC 17025 requirements.
