Workplace Ergonomics & Environment (2 Days Training)
- April 2 – 3, 2018
- X-Limit Learning Hub (CMCT's Training Centre)
Workplaces traditionally have been designed to move products or support machines efficiently. Since people have always seemed so adaptable, how they fit into the workplace has received less attention. But because of the increasing number of injuries caused by repetitive motion, excessive force and awkward postures, ergonomics has become a critical factor in workplace safety.
Ergonomics removes barriers to quality, productivity and human performance by fitting products, tasks, and environments to people in order to reduce the risk of developing a musculoskeletal disorder.
- To provide an understanding what is Ergonomics and the components involved.
- To understand better how Ergonomics factors can influence our health at work.
- To enable the organization to identify Ergonomics hazards related to their activities and the control measures to be taken.
