ISO 45001:2018 specifies the requirements for an Occupational Health & Safety management system that an organization can use to enhance its workplace safety.
An Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System provides a framework for an organization to identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, comply with legislation and improve operational performance.
Organizations already certified to OHSAS 18001 will have three years to comply with the new ISO 45001 standard.
To enable the participants to understand about ISO 45001:2018 OH&S requirements and how it will impact to their current OHSAS 18001.
Besides, it provides participants in-depth knowledge on interpretation of ISO45001 clauses and its application during internal audit.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to know:
- Understand ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
- Distinguish the main difference between ISO 45001:2018 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
- Conclude the major impact ISO 45001:2018 requirements to their own OHSAS 18001.
- Formulate the transition plan for ISO 45001:2018.
